Skin structure rejuvenation and pigment lightening with fractionated laser
This is a non-ablative laser skin rejuvenating treatment for open pored skin, superficial wrinkles, scars and mole-type pigmentation. The laser heats up the cells, causing damaged columns of microscopic size in the skin (destroying part of the pathogenic mass causing the skin symptoms). The damaged areas are replaced by new cells within a few months and therefore the skin fully rejuvenates in the treated column areas. With repeated treatments the ratio of new cells can be gradually increased.

Preparation
The Emerge Frax-L fractionated treatment requires no special preparation and can usually be carried out on the day of the examination. We recommend not sunbathing or visiting tanning salons for two weeks prior to the Emerge Frax-L fractionated laser treatment.
The treatment
In the course of the EmergeFrax-L fractionated treatment we apply short light pulses to patches of the skin with the tip of a pencil-type handpiece. Then we treat the neighbouring skin area. We treat the area in 1-3 rows, depending on the nature of the problem. The treatment may cause slight discomfort though it is generally painless.
Ability to work, nursing at home
The patient can return to work immediately after the Emerge Frax-L fractionated treatment; which does not cause any skin injury. The treatment may be followed by mild redness on the skin which disappears in a few hours. After treatment you will need to continue caring for your skin at home and we always recommend avoiding exposure to light for a month.
Number of treatments
We recommend repeating the treatments in order to achieve a good result (set of 4-8 treatments). The Emerge Frax-L fractionated treatments can be repeated every 2-3 weeks.
Scientific background of the treatment
We use a 1410 nm diode laser manufactured by Palomar-Cynosure laser company for the Emerge Frax-L fractionated treatment, where the laser energy penetrates into the skin in small fractions, in columns Led by Dr Gábor Varju, Dr Derm Anti-Aging Dermatology, Aesthetic Laser and Plastic Surgery was the first institution to use the equipment and the related treatment method in Hungary.
