Vagina rejuvenation for a youthful vagina
This mini invasive treatment is a natural and painless solution for weaker and dry vagina walls, sagging of the vagina and bladder control. This method includes both narrowing of the vagina and an incontinence treatment by laser, with the help of the effective CO2 technology. During the treatment the 360 degree scanner needs to be inserted into the vagina only once; unlike other less advanced, equipment which needs to be inserted 3 times.

Those who have a dry vagina and feel discomfort or pain during sexual intercourse. Loose vagina wall, frequent urinary urgency and urinary incontinence problems. Those who have a lowered female hormone (oestrogen) level due to menopause or as a result of gynaecological surgery or organic changes relating to that.

Preparation
The MonaLisa Touch treatment requires no special preparation. The best time for the treatment is the first week of the menstrual cycle. The treatment cannot be applied during menstruation (bleeding).
The treatment
With the MonaLisa Touch treatment, we insert a long, tube-shaped vaginal scanner into the vagina and withdraw it centimetre by centimetre, while the laser light spreads a series of circular light impulses. The laser creates tiny holes on the vaginal epithelium which, similarly to the fractionated rejuvenation of the facial skin, will be replaced by new cells, with a new epithelium, recovering its moistness. The deeper layers of the vagina wall heat up significantly during the treatment and therefore they shrink (an immediate tightening effect). The heat also boosts the production of new collagen fibres, with the full effect experienced after about 4 months. The treatment lasts for approximately 15 minutes. During the treatment, patients feel warmth but no pain, and therefore no anaesthesia is required.
Ability to work, nursing at home
The patient can return to work immediately after the MonaLisa Touch treatment. A slight swelling or weeping (discharge) may occur for a few days after the treatment. Intensive training or physical exercise is not recommended for 2 weeks and patients should avoid lifting heavy objects for 4 weeks. No sexual intercourse is recommended for a week after the treatment. Do not insert a tampon into your vagina for four weeks after the treatment.

Scientific background of the treatment
The MonaLisa Touch is based on 2nd generation vaginal rejuvenation technology and the rather sophisticated CO2 laser of the DEKA laser manufacturing company. DEKA is part of El.En. Group, which is the largest laser manufacturing group in Europe. DEKA developed the first vaginal rejuvenation laser treatment in the world and nowadays the MonaLisa Touch treatment is available at more than 250 clinics in the US. The MonaLisa Touch treatment has the largest number of clinical experiences and professional publications relating to it. According to scientific research, with the MonaLisa Touch, all subjective symptoms that stem from a reduced oestrogen level and aging of the vagina (atrophy) can be treated effectively. Cost of the treatment
The first MonaLisa Touch treatment costs HUF 180,000, the second HUF 150,000 and the third HUF 120,000 Ft but, if paying in advance, the 3rd treatment is available at a 50% discount. Consequently, paying in advance, the set of 3 treatments costs HUF 390,000 (with the patient able to use the treatment within a six month period).
