Preparation
The ONDA Coolwaves cellulite removal treatment does not require any preparation. The treatment is usually carried out according to prior appointments, depending on availability it can also be carried out on the day of the consultation. No anaesthetics are needed. Before the treatment, we define the development stage of the cellulite on the area to be treated.
The treatment
The appropriate programme will be selected on the DEKA-ONDA device according to the body surface to be treated and the development stage of the cellulite. The handpiece will be passed through the selected area with slow moves in circles. You may have a warm feeling in the depth during the treatment but the integrated cooling system of the handpiece will keep your skin surface cool. After the ONDA Coolwaves we recommend a Z-Wave Pro shock-wave therapy massage. The total time for the treatment of a symmetric region is 30 minutes.
Ability to work, nursing at home
After the ONDA Coolwaves cellulite treatment there is no recovery time needed, you can continue your usual activities.
Number of treatments required
The number of sessions required depends on the gravity of the problem. In general, 3-4 sessions are needed to arrive at a less advanced stage of cellulites.
Stage 1. Symptoms of cellulitis are not visible and cannot be provoked yet but lesions of the tissues are already present. We reach stage 0 by treating stage 1. cellulite with the ONDA Coolwaves device.
Stage 2: Symptoms of cellulitis are not spontaneously visible but the symptoms of the mattress can be provoked if we put our hands ca. 10 cm of each other on the respected area and push them from both sides. We reach stage 1 by treating stage 2. cellulite with the ONDA Coolwaves device.
Stage 2: Symptoms of cellulitis are spontaneously visible: the mass of the tissues pushes the respected area when standing up and the mattress phenomenon becomes visible. We reach stage 2 by treating stage 3. cellulite with the ONDA Coolwaves device.
Stage 3: Symptoms of cellulitis are spontaneously visible in a supine or prone position and the mattress phenomenon does not disappear. This is the most serious type of cellulite.
Scientific background of the treatment
The Research and Development division of DEKA has developed an intelligent handpiece that drives the electromagnetic field towards the fat cells and destroys them while its integrated cooling system protects the skin and provides safety and comfort to the patient.
With the intelligent handpiece of the ONDA only 20% of the output energy will heat the skin and the integrated cooling system guarantees a constant offset. The remaining 80% of the energy penetrates into the fat and actively acts on the fat cells.
