Those whose skin has suffered from exposure to sunlight or frequent visits to tanning salons and has developed freckles, superficial pigment patches, solar lentigo, fine superficial or even deep wrinkles. Whose skin surface is damaged by acne of former blemish or scarring of an accident or surgical intervention. Pregnancy or weight gain stretch marks and ageing loosening tissues can both be treated. Preparation
DEKA DOT fractional laser treatment is usually carried out according to prior organised appointments, depending on availability, it can also be carried out on the day of consultation. After cleaning the skin surface to be treated, a topical anaesthetic will be applied to numb the upper skin layers in around 30 – 60 minutes. After removing the cream, you will receive protective glasses to wear throughout the total treatment period. Upon the day of the treatment, you will have to take aciclovir tablets for 10 days (to avoid an unlikely herpes flare-up impact of ablative treatments)
The treatment
Your medical doctor controls the high-speed scanner of the DEKA DOT laser, which will scan the skin surface to be treated thus accomplishing its part to reach the targeted results. Following a short period of rest after the treatment ends, you can leave the clinics. As the skin becomes red and swollen after the treatment, we do not advise to use public transportation on your way home.
Ability to work, nursing at home
The day after the skin surface treatment you will only experience a slight sunburn-like redness which can be covered with a foundation make-up. In case of a deeper intervention, we advise you to count with 3-5-7 days downtime to recover and to spend this period at home. When planning your treatment, consider to choose a period when the temporarily visible symptoms do not cause any disruption in your activities. Like with all laser treatments, we recommend you to use sunscreen creams.
Number of treatments required
As the laser creates structural changes in the skin, it has usually more lasting effects than non-ablative skin rejuvenation treatments. Certain lesions will disappear for ever and the spectacular anti-aging effect can last for years. Please note that repeated treatments can make the results even more spectacular and more stable, similarly, protecting your skin will help extend the results of the treatment.
Scientific background of the treatment
The parallel narrow beam of the laser strikes tiny holes in the surface of the skin, barely visible to the eye, and creates fine vertical channels that penetrate into the deep layers of the skin. These damages will trigger the healing mechanism of the skin, which leads to the formation of new cells and to the rejuvenation of the tissues treated. The new cells will fill these small channels column-wise and the skin will truly renew itself. The thermal effect generated by the laser will not only shrink the existing collagen, resulting in an instant skin firming effect, but it will also trigger the formation of new collagen fibres. The effect of the treatment is therefore not only spectacular, but also long-lasting.

Cost of the treatment
The DOT fractional laser treatment for the whole face costs 190.500 Ft and with a laser lifting treatment for the lower and upper eyelids 289.560 Ft. The cost of local anaesthesia is also included in the price.
